A Very Successful Speed Week
We haven't been posting regular updates since the retirement of the Challenger 2, but Danny has continued to race, and he had a remarkably successful 2025 Speed Week. Driving the Ferguson streamliner, Danny set two new land speed records and captured the Hot Rod Trophy (awarded for the highest overall speed of the meet) for the first time.
The latter is particularly meaningful to him, as his name will be engraved on the trophy with his father, Mickey Thompson, who won it in 1959 and 1960. Danny would like to thank Don Ferguson and all of his hard working crew members for making this accomplishment possible!
